We develop two main research directions in the lab: Coordination chemistry and computational chemistry

Coordination Chemistry: Study of coordination compounds of metals (biometals) containing:

1. Pyridine carboxyl acid hydrazides, hydrazones of aliphatic aldehydes and aminopyridine isomers and their derivatives.
2. Pyridine carboxyl acid hydrazides, cyclic aldehydes and hydrazones and picoline-, nicotine- and isonicotinamidesand their derivatives.

Methods of research: Chemical analysis, spectroscopic (infrared, electron), thermographic, X-ray, antituberculosis, antibactericidal.

Computational Chemistry: Quantum-chemical calculations of complexation of amides, amines and bicyclic bisureahydrazones (psychotropic drug). Study of influence of solvent using AM-1 method.
