July 2 seminar

As part of the Seminar Week, on July 2, 2025, Sopho Tskitishvili, an employee of the Department of Fundamental Research and Composite Materials Synthesis and a doctoral student, gave a report on the topic "Adsorbents based on secondary raw materials and zeolite - CO2 capture".

The seminar presented the results and preliminary conclusions obtained at the initial stage of the research. Based on the results obtained, in order to study the topic in depth, the stages of the research were discussed. In the final part of the seminar, a discussion was held, a number of interesting issues were raised, the consideration of which will help the doctoral student to properly plan the next stages of the dissertation work.

The second part of the seminar was led by Spartak Khutsishvili, an employee of the "Physico-Chemical Research and Analysis Department", on the topic: "News from the Annual International Meeting of the Electron Magnetic Resonance Group, London".

The latest advances in EPR research in biomedicine, spintronics, nanomaterials, molecular magnets, and other fields were presented at a conference held in London in June 2025. Our institute presented a paper titled “Antioxidant and bacteriostatic activity of bionanocomposites based on natural sulfated polysaccharides with manganese (hydr)oxide nanoparticles”, in collaboration with the CRDF GLOBAL Foundation.
